Learn how to make your own fabric shoe laces in this fun tutorial with Owen and Josh where they show you a cool way to make your shoes more fashionable!
Materials needed to make your own fabric shoe laces:
- Piece of fabric with the design of your choice
- Pair of scissors
- Heat Shrink tubing
- Pair of Shoes
- Measuring tape
Measure the length of the existing shoe lace, then measure the fabric to be the same length. Cut the fabric lengthwise into a 2 inch strip. Fold it in half and iron it, fold it again and iron again. Next use your Speed-Sew Fabric Glue to keep the 2nd fold closed.
Now use the heat shrink tubing, one at each end of the lace, heat until the tubing is snug and tight around the end of the lace. Cut off any frays or excess.
Repeat the steps to make your second fabric shoe lace.
