In this video, we show you a quick & easy no-sew method to hem a pair of jeans with Speed Sew fabric glue. All it takes is a few materials (pins, iron, Q-tip, Speed-Sew, scissors) and a few minutes of your day!
Steps:
1. Fold under the jean cuff to the desired length
2. Pin the desired length
3. Remove jeans
4. Move pins up
5. Iron the fold
6. Turn jeans inside out
7. Remove pins
8. Spread Speed-Sew to the inside fold
9. Press down
10. Repeat on both sides
Tips when using Speed Sew:
– Keep at least 1.5 inches of fabric inside the fold if choosing to cut excess fabric with shears.
– Measure both sides of the folds to make sure they’re evenly folded, if not, adjust.
– To discourage fraying, put drops of Speed-Sew on the edge about every inch when glueing.
– Wash normally in the laundry.
